We arrived that morning along a winding road, to that place surrounded by beautiful houses full of potted flowers and large windows. The island was the name of the house where we were received by a great woman with her beautiful cat. It was a nice house full of memories, photos, books, furniture...everything told some story of the past life.
This time and as a farewell to the harsh and cold winter, they gathered near the fireplace making the work of the model who poses naked in front of them more pleasant.
The first exercises begin with the model motionless for just three minutes for a quick perception and drawing exercise.
While listening to the melodies of love songs by Victoria de los Angeles, the beautiful model, standing by the fireplace, holds a red scarf in her hands while looking up innocently with her head lowered.
For this exercise there is more time, about twenty minutes that pass by the ticking of the clock and the careful gaze of the artists who draw on their canvases.
Finished the exercise, and sitting at the table next to the window from where we can enjoy the view of the sea, we have tea with an exquisite Chinese porcelain service.
They commented on the beginnings of these meetings that began many years ago in Orgiva, with the hippies of the Beneficio community, whom they fed, and washed their clothes in exchange for posing, the meetings in this house facing the sea began 3 years ago.
And with one last pose, this time lying on her side on the couch as a way of resting from the long day and together with the cat that was also resting, these passionate artists finished the day.
Barbara is our hostess, she lived in India and is a teacher of Batik, a technique for dyeing artistic fabrics.

Gordon Roberts has been immersed throughout his life in the world of art and design of famous brands of clothing and accessories, he paints beautiful landscapes with pastels and also practices every week with models in these meetings.

Llegamos aquella mañana por una sinuosa carretera, a aquel lugar rodeado de bonitas casas llenas de macetas con flores y grandes ventanas. La isla, era el nombre de la casa donde nos recibió una gran mujer con su hermoso gato. Era una pequeña y bonita casa llena de recuerdos,fotos, libros,muebles ... cada cosa contaba alguna historia de la vida pasada.
Esta vez y como despedida al crudo y frío invierno, se juntaron cerca de la chimenea haciendo mas agradable el trabajo de la modelo que posa desnuda frente a ellos.
Los primeros ejercicios comienzan con la modelo inmóvil durante tan solo tres minutos para un rápido ejercicio de percepción y dibujo.
Mientras se escuchan unas melodías de canciones de amor de Victoria de los Ángeles, la bella modelo sostiene, de pie junto a la chimenea, un pañuelo rojo entre las manos mientras mira con inocencia hacia arriba y con la cabeza baja.
Para este ejercicio hay más tiempo,cerca de veinte minutos que trascurren junto al tic tac del reloj y las cuidadosas miradas de los artistas que dibujan sobre sus lienzos.
Acabado el ejercicio, sentados en la mesa junta a la ventana desde donde podemos disfrutar del la vista del mar, tomamos el te con un exquisito servicio de porcelanachina.
Comentaron acerca de los inicios de estas reuniones que muchos años atrás empezaron en Orgiva ,con los hippies de la comunidad de Beneficio a los que daban de comer y lavaban la ropa a cambio de posar, las reuniones en esta casa frente al mar iniciaron hace 3 años.
Y con una ultima pose, esta vez yaciendo de costado sobre el diván a modo de descanso de la larga jornada y junto al gato que también descansaba terminaron estos apasionados artistas la jornada.
